Renewal of the levy at the current millage will actually result in about a 10% reduction of funding due to State tax reimbursements being eliminated. The 4.07 mills raise almost $40 million annually, but this is just a renewal and won’t raise taxes. The levy costs the owner of a $100,000 home $50.26 annually, the same amount they are paying now–$4/month. Again, this levy will not raise your taxes.
